Welcome to my modest attempt at a blog about La Vita Italia! Many of you know Barbara and I are on the verge of a big change - we are about to move to Chieri, Italy to start an exciting new chapter.

For the next 2-3 years, I'll be teaching Economics and Math at the International School of Turin, near Chieri in the Piemonte region of Italy. IST was founded in 1963 (just like me!) and offers the full IB continuum (K-12) to approx. 500 students. It's about 7-8 miles from Turin, and draws students from throughout the Piemonte.

After all of the effort getting visas arranged and going full Marie Kondo on our possessions, it's time to enjoy the actual move - we can't wait!

But before we go, gotta say thanks and farewell to our home for 25 of the past 28 years -

the ATL. We'll miss the people, the neighborhoods, the weather, and the relaxed-yet-purposeful vibe that makes our town unique! We'll especially miss our awesome friends who have been so supportive of this big move. Mille grazie, amici!
